Unconventional

Praxis

The Grass
Is Always Redder on the Other Side

This performance is part of the group presentation “Unconventional Praxis,” set in an environment of green and red light.

The artist invites participants to talk and paint plaster apples in what they believe are the 'correct' colors, sparking conversations about perception and interpretation.

Because our perception of the world and our ability to see can vary, at times, one may not achieve the typical vision shared by the majority. Stemming from the artist's own vision issue, this inquiry delves into the concept of 'normal vision,' seeking to explore what defines this normalcy in our visual experiences. It also seeks to understand how we can grasp the unseen, given the limitations of our eyes.
