In 2025, 33 emerging theatre makers from around the world were selected to join the International Forum at Theatertreffen in Berlin. Held at Uferstudios, a former tram depot in the district of Wedding, the two-week residency offered a space for reflection, experimentation, and exchange. Through workshops led by artists Joana Tischkau, Wang Chong, and the collective Turbo Pascal.

 

The international fellows explored how theatre shifts when removed from its conventional spaces. Alongside engagement with the Theatertreffen festival, the program culminated in a public presentation, “The Forum’s Forum,” offering playful insights into the fellows’ artistic processes.
